It is quite good at catching many insects, such as: stink bugs, wasps and yellow jackets.  It is a fast grower. It is a great house plant, that can be grown outdoors in the warm weather. It is suitable for beginners.

This clone N. ampullaria x ventricosa, was developed by Borneo Exotics, and is sometimes called the "Bloody Mary" Nepenthes. It is an Intermediate hybrid.

Well Packaged

Arrived fast which was good because the heat pack in the box had gone cold. (Understandable as it got unexpectedly cold here after I had placed the order.) Fortunately I got home in time to get it indoors before anything bad happened. Alive and well when I opened the box. along with the rest of my order.

Beginner friendly

I'm very much a beginner to keeping carnivorous plants, and have killed quite a few specimens of all kinds in the process of learning to care for them, including species that are supposedly idiot-proof, so I've been very pleasantly surprised at how well my Lady Luck has grown! Mine puts out new leaves regularly, survived a minor spider mite infestation with no serious issues, and has even formed a basal offshoot that's doing well too. It has taken over five months for my plant to grow its first pitchers, which I've been chalking up to the dry environment; I've read that they need high humidity to grow fully formed pitchers, so I wasn't sure if mine ever would, but lo and behold, in the middle of November in New York, she decided she was ready! Super satisfying to watch them grow!
