Nepenthes densiflora is a medium size, carnivorous tropical pitcher plant with maroon pitchers covered in purple speckles. The upper traps have a narrowing waist, and bulbous bottom. The opening is large, oval and upward pointing. The hoods are large and oval. Lower pitchers are colored similar to the upper pitchers, but with very pointed, toothy wings. In its habitat it grows as a scrambling vine over shrubs and trees in full sun, in water logged soils. In cultivation it prefers very damp soil and dappled indirect light. It can be a slow grower.  It is an excellent terrarium plant, and good for beginners.

Unless size specifies "potted", plants are shipped bare-root, wrapped in damp sphagnum moss. Photographs are representative of species, and not the specific plant shipped.

Height: 18+".
Plant Type: Tropical, Highland
Soil: Live Sphagnum Moss or Nepenthes Mix.
Light: Dappled indirect light indoors, full to partial sun outdoors.
Use: Great house plant for the sunroom, window sill, terrarium, or greenhouse.

Nepenthes densiflora

Really skinny and fragile stem, glad it made it through shipping, no pitchers yet. Seems to be doing well and has started to make new growth within a few weeks. The small size I bought really is smaller than expected. I would consider going for the next size up if I were to do it again.

Napenthes Densiflora

Well packaged and healthy plant! Compared to all the other napenthes I received, this was the smallest. I was a bit surprised by how leggy it looks, and how small the foliage is. But I’d be excited to see when it gets some new growth

Plant showed up in pretty good condition.

Plant was very well packaged upon arrival. This species/specimen had a more slender and delicate stem, and it still made it through without getting broken. I like the growing media this company uses, as it's similiar to my preferred mix of 60/20/20 sphagnum / orchid bark / perlite. Growing point was in good condition. Plant didn't have any pitchers, but that's not a problem as long as the rest of the foliage is healthy. There were some slight tinges of what look like a little sunburn on the lower leaves, but the newer leaves look like they had adjusted to the new light levels before being sent out, so it looks like they did their due diligence acclimating the plant on their end before it went out. I think it should do fairly well in my setup, as it seems to be nice and stable after a week or so of sitting on my shelf grow setup.
