Dwarf Spikerush, Eleocharis radicans, is a semi-aquatic miniature perennial grass-like bog plant. It is also called Dwarf Bogrush, Miniature Rush and Rooted Spikerush. It easily roots on soft wet ground or in the water. It is non-weedy, and easy to contain or control in the bog garden. It can form nice mats of deep green "lawn", filling the area around sundews, venus flytraps and other bog plants. By doing so it reduces weeds dramatically. There are multiple petite tawny white flowers on the tips of the leaves. Blooms mid to late Summer and Fall. Naturalizes readily.

Each portion is a rooted, growing plant.
