Nepenthes densiflora is a medium size, carnivorous tropical pitcher plant with maroon pitchers covered in purple speckles. The upper traps have a narrowing waist, and bulbous bottom. The opening is large, oval and upward pointing. The hoods are large and oval. Lower pitchers are colored similar to the upper pitchers, but with very pointed, toothy wings. In its habitat it grows as a scrambling vine over shrubs and trees in full sun, in water logged soils. In cultivation it prefers very damp soil and dappled indirect light. It can be a slow grower. It is an excellent terrarium plant, and good for beginners.
Unless size specifies "potted", plants are shipped bare-root, wrapped in damp sphagnum moss. Photographs are representative of species, and not the specific plant shipped.
