It is an early spring bloomer with orangey-red blossoms that flower well before the new traps develop. Flower stalks and sepals last through the year, resembling green daffodils. It is a rare complex cultivar, and a wonderful addition to your backyard bog garden or collection. This is a complex cross cultivar. This stock comes from seed, and shows some variation among the plants shipped.
