The Sethos Mexican Butterwort, Pinguicula 'Sethos', is an easy to grow, indoor butterwort.  It is a hybrid of P. ehlersiae and P. moranensis. It has broadly flattened, green to peach pink, leaves with slightly curled edges. Its large sticky leaves can form rosettes about 3+" across. It has a wide range of tolerance, but prefers damp, loose, peaty soils, and open shade, with wet Summers and dry Winters. It forms larger, sticky carnivorous leaves in the Summer and smaller, drier, non-carnivorous, succulent leaves in the Winter. It blooms in Spring and Fall with 1-7+ bright pink flowers. It responds well to warm, wet Summers and drier, cooler Winters. The Sethos Butterwort is an excellent house plant, doing well on window sills, plant carts and greenhouses. They perform great in a terrarium. Our Butterworts are artificially propagated from leaf pulls.

Sethos Butterwort

Very pretty plant. I like the small size and the potting it came in is perfect. After a few weeks the plant has settled in and looks great and is growing and catching insects. I would recommend this plant as well as Carnivorous Plant Nursery!
