Premium Carnivorous Plant Soil Tropical Butterwort Mix

This is an ideal carnivorous plant medium specifically formulated for tropical butterworts. It is a professional, custom blend specifically designed for bog habitat plants, and based on years of growing experience and field studies worldwide. We offer a variety of custom soil mixes for different carnivorous plants, bog plants, and bog orchids. More details about our premium soil mixes.

Instructions: Moisten before use with mineral-free water, such as distilled, reverse-osmosis or rain water.
Contents: sphagnum peat moss, CaCO3 sand, perlite.
Approximate Volume:
   small: 0.5 quarts, 25 cubic inches, enough for one 4" round pot.
   medium: 2.5 quarts, 170 cubic inches, enough for about five 4" round pots.
   bulk pack: 8 quarts, 540 cubic inches, enough for about sixteen 4" round pots.
Caution: Wear gloves when handling any soil medium.

Healthy and thriving!

I received my butterworts after about 2 weeks, the nursery informed me they were not shipping due to the heat wave. Definitely, a shop that cares about the plants and the quality of your purchase, not just getting things out the door. I could not be happier with my purchase. The plant was wrapped up with moss and arrived green and ready for planting. I have planted it in the recommended soil, from this vendor, and it is thriving. In just a few weeks, the plant has doubled in size and is looking wonderful. 10/10 stars.

Excellent soil mix

I love the composition of the butterwort soil mix. The texture of the soil makes planting the bareroot butterworts a breeze! Additionally, it drains well, thus the plants don't sit in water in their pots. Excellent product.
