Beautiful & Healthy Akai Ryu

I ordered a small potted Akai Ryu.

They shipped quickly and the plant arrived securely packaged with a removable plastic dome on top.

Pictures included show the plant straight from the package with the dome removed.

I appreciate the quality of the plants and the helpful nature of the staff. I had a question about a previous order and they responded quickly with information and advice! Will definitely order from this nursery again!

Ehhh…

Love the plant (Akai Ryu), but most of the traps turned black shortly after arrival. According to the staff, that’s normal, but idk. Obviously, it’s not what you’d want or expect after spending a bunch of money on what is supposedly a healthy plant. Beware. It is bouncing back after a couple of weeks though.

Healthy plant arrived well packaged.

I've made a few orders from Carnivorous Plant Nursery now. Every order and every plant I ordered came well packaged and healthy. This is no exception. The akay ryui is now sitting out in my bog garden, growing happily. It is like the plant did not even notice it was transported and transported across the country. Thank you CPN!

Adorable little plant

So happy to have purchased. It is small but that was anticipated. It is alive and well and we will be making more purchases in the future

Smaller than pictured and expected. All had black tips upon arrival. Did not make it.

Plants arrived as noted but very small. Also ordered another variety that had 1-3 roots per plant. None made it. Save your time and money. Honest opinion, if not a really experienced grower would be to get fully potted and mature plant at a local nursery if you can find them. Would not purchase again.
