Nepenthes x Dyeriana, is a large complex hybrid first developed in the Victorian Era. Its striped, multicolored peristome and red speckled traps will make it stand out in your collection. It is a very large, robust growing carnivorous tropical pitcher plant. Its large, speckled pitchers can be over 18" with wide mouths the size of coffee cups when fully mature. It is heat tolerant and does well in a window. It is quite good at catching large insects, such as: stink bugs, wasps and yellow jackets.  It is a fast grower. Stems can be trimmed to keep the plant bushy, and to start cuttings. It is a great house plant, that can be grown outdoors in the warm weather. It is suitable for beginners.

This clone has been in the hobby for a long time.  It is male. Nepenthes x Dyeriana is a complex hybrid, Nepenthes (northiana x maxima) x (rafflesiana x veitchii).

Unless size specifies "potted", plants are shipped bare-root, wrapped in damp sphagnum moss. Photographs are representative of species, and not the specific plant shipped.
