One of the smallest species in the genus, this is ideally suited for warm terrarium growing. Pitchers are globose and tinted reddish orange with red splotches. The contrasting peristome is yellow to green. Tendrils are quite long. In cultivation is does well in moderately bright indirect light. Reduce watering in winter. It is a great house plant, that can be grown outdoors in the warm weather. It is excellent in the terrarium, and shaded greenhouse. It can grow quite large. N bellii was previously known as N. globamphora.

Unless size specifies "potted", plants are shipped bare-root, wrapped in damp sphagnum moss. Photographs are representative of species, and not the specific plant shipped.

Plants coming back now

I purchased a small Nepenthes and Heliamphora & the plants arrived to my Colorado home approximately a week later. Despite hot summer temperatures, the plants were alive, including the live Sphagnum moss. I transplanted them into a mixture of fresh Sphagnum moss, Nepenthes soil and perlite. They were then placed in terrariums with grow lights. I think both of these did not need to immediately transplanted, and some of the existing pitchers wilted in the 1st two weeks, but there is new growth emerging now from the Heliamphora. Hats off to CPN for the robust packaging.

Plant was little smaller than expected. Packing job was excellent. No damage. Will definitely shop with you again. Needing some live sphagnum moss.
