poor packaging

of the two bags of sand, one of them split open and everything spilled out. Not sure why they were shipped in such flimsy sandwich bags. The sand felt wet. Not sure how good it is. But, it was very disappointing and surprising that they were packaged so cheaply.

Horticultural Sand

Save yourself the time and do it right the first time. I have purchased this sand for all my seeds that need stratification and have had great success. I even have batches of sand ready to go for future seeds.

Good quality sand.

I had a difficult time finding quality sand, that was the right size not too fine and not to course, the perfect middle ground,. Then to find a sand that is washed is a plus. I have used carnivorous plant nursery soil mixes in the past, and have had good luck, with the different varieties of mixes. I figured if they put much detail into what they put in their premade mixes. Then it has to have quality sand.

Impressed so far!

I’ve just recently transferred my drosera to a terrarium using the lower bog mix and the medium looks great so far. Can’t speak to the plant’s happiness just yet but will be happy to report back
