This unusual sundew hybrid Drosera oblanceolata x anglica (Alakai Swamp, HI), forms red semi-erect rosettes. The leaves are long and paddle-shaped with beautiful crimson red color. It is very robust and an easy-grower. It flowers profusely. The blossoms are pale pink on multi-flowered scapes. Typically there are several scapes at a time, and they are long lasting. It can flower at different times of the year, but more profusely in the summer months. It prefers open, sunny, boggy conditions in peaty soils. This hybrid is an excellent little terrarium plant. It is easy to grow, and is a great beginner's plant. This selection comes from leaf cuttings, and are genetically identical to the parent.
Plants are shipped bare-root, wrapped in damp sphagnum moss. Photographs are representative of species, and not the specific plant shipped.
