Lower bog mix

Nice mix. My plants do well with it and my seeds have done well also.
Thank you as always for nothing but the Best!

Looks to be good quality and for the pitcher plant I purchased it seems ideal.

Soil is quality materials, not like a lot of big box stores nursery departments mixes they sell. I am super impressed with Carnivorous Plant Nursery and its products. This is their niche, and they do it awesomely

Lower Bog Mix

I bought the smallest bag of lower bog mix to use with a cape sundew and some dead sphagnum moss. It's been about a month now since I got everything potted and put into the water tray. The sundew is thriving. I think there are eight or nine new leaves deployed and more growing quickly, and that doesn't include the two that have grown and caught stuff and now appear to be done with catching things. I know there are other factors involved with plant wellness, but at this point I consider it safe to assume that the lower bog mix is good stuff and working well.

Leafs seem to be turning an off-color and dying, but maybe that’s due to the season, but the stalks are also changing and starting close up or something.

Water twice daily and get plenty of sun with my other plants, so I’m still TBD.
