This sundew hybrid is Drosera oblanceolata x spatulata "Hartmeyer", stands out clearly amongst our sundews. It is a large, upright grower with dark red leaves and tentacles. It is very robust and an easy-grower. It flowers profusely. It prefers open, sunny, boggy conditions in peaty soils. The blossoms are pink on multi-flowered scapes. Typically there are several scapes at a time, and they are long lasting. It can flower at different times of the year, but more profusely in the summer months. This hybrid is an excellent little terrarium plant. It is easy to grow, and is a great beginner's plant. This selection comes from leaf cuttings, and are genetically identical to the parent.
Plants are shipped bare-root, wrapped in damp sphagnum moss. Photographs are representative of species, and not the specific plant shipped.
