Nepenthes albomarginata has slender graceful pitchers. The pitcher color vary from purple, red or green, but always has the characteristic white band below the peristome. This is made of hairlike structures or trichomes that attract insects, especially termites, that often fall into the trap to become a meal. N. albomarginata grows naturally in the shade of relatively dense, damp, woody vegetation. In cultivation it does well in moderately bright indirect light. Reduce watering in winter. It is a great house plant, that can be grown outdoors in the warm weather. It is excellent in the terrarium, and suitable for beginners.

Unless size specifies "potted", plants are shipped bare-root, wrapped in damp sphagnum moss. Photographs are representative of species, and not the specific Nepenthes albomarginata for sale.
