Nepenthes vieillardii is a small pretty species with striking blood red pitchers and dark green leaves. It develops 4 distinct types of pitchers: juvenile, lower, intermediate and higher. It is a challenge to grow well, needing well drained, coarse soil, high humidity and high temperatures.
