The flowers are scented, upright and lemon yellow with three pointed petals and inner yellow stamens. The large stalkless triple leaves often have grey-green marbling on the surface. It is Deer Resistant, and prefers growing in consistently wet, loose rich soils, appreciating shade. It flowers in the Spring and dies back by mid Summer. One of the easiest and largest of all the Trilliums. It is shade tolerant. Best in groups.

Yellow Trillium

Plant received in healthy condition with small furled leaves just penetrating the surface. Has since grown nicely and currently has a flower bud that I am looking forward to seeing open.
