Great soil!

I bought a small bag of this soil to repot my little box store flytrap. My flytrap is doing great in it. It’s tripled in size, and grown huge beautiful traps. No transplant shock at all.

Great Soil!

As a former soldier who spends countless hours in the field in these plants native environment, I can confirm it is the real deal!

We LOVE this soil!

We bought a Venus Fly Trap at Home Depot. It looked sad and struggled to survive. We repotted it in this soil. In a weeks time, is getting better and showing signs of growth. Pretty cool! We also got another VFT from Carnivorous Plant Nursery. Plan to get a few more when stock comes in. Great company and great service.

Great all around mix.

I have some VFT, sarracenia, and drosera all growing well in this mix. Though it is formulated for plants like venus flytraps that like a drier medium, it is broad enough that I have a few different types of carnivorous plants growing well with this soil mix. Two sarracenia species - S. purpurea, and an unknown sarracenia seedling. Three drosera - D. rotundifolia, D. intermedia, and an unknown seedling that sprouted from Carnivorous Plant's live red sphagnum that I put on top of this bog mix for aesthetic reasons, and a few different cultivars of venus fly traps. They all seem to have no problem growing and thriving in this bog mix.

If I were to go purchase pre made soil mixes again, I would not hesitate to use Carnivorous Plant Nursery's upper bog mix. Thank you to the people of Carnivorous Plant Nursery!

More than enough

I got the smallest bag they have for a little venus fly trap I ordered and it was plenty for the little starter pot we are using. There is enough to repot when it gets bigger.
