Everything I need, great results

This is my second purchase of the Lower Bog Soil Mix. It seemed like a good mix for the plants I originally purchased (last year) and the resulting healthy and vigorous plants proved the point. I'm splitting some bog plants into a second pot and re-purchased this mix expecting similar results.

I mix my own soils - and I'm impressed~

At first I thought there was no way this was enough soil or the quality of soil I could make for the sundews I bought. Pressed for time, I thought I would give it a chance. I was able to fill three 4' diameter pots with soil to spare! And even though one of the three plants was damaged, all three plants are now thriving - not just growing. I am amazed at how quickly they took and began to grow and sprout new branches within a week. I would recommend following the planting and watering directions carefully. If you're going to fertilize, start with ultra small amounts. I added it to the water inside the plants basin once they were established and shooting new branches.

Same as my purchase with the red sphagnum moss, it’s a bit pricey, but the item itself is a quality product. Good for beginners
