Nepenthes ceciliae is a very pretty, easy-to-grow highland Nepenthes. Young traps are speckled with bright red blotches on a green backgrounds. Trap color matures to yellow in full sun. Leaves are striking with red coloration. It is endemic to a single mountain on Mindanao growing in submontane forest. It is quite good at catching large insects, such as: stink bugs, wasps and yellow jackets. It does well in a window and is a great house plant, that can be grown outdoors in the warm weather with a minimal transition period. It is a good as a houseplant or in the greenhouse.

Plants are shipped bare-root, wrapped in damp sphagnum moss. Photographs are representative of species, and not the specific plant shipped. Plants are young and small with juvenile traps.
