Terrarium Starter Set

The two plants that survived were perfect and healthy…they even had heat packing! The smallest plant looked a little rough. Upon reading other reviews…. I think this is normal. Customer service got back to me immediately and assured me this was the case. Thank you for the excellent customer support.

I always wanted a terrarium filled with carnivorous plants, and I’m glad that "Carnivorous Plant Nursery" offers a starter set with plants that do well in that environment. Everything was shipped really well, and I was impressed. The Pitcher Plant and the Sundew are both a good size and are doing well in my terrarium. The only thing I didn’t like was the Terrestrial Bladderwort; it came in very compact dirt, and the packaging caused the small leaves to be squashed. After a few weeks in my terrarium, I haven’t seen new growth yet, but they don’t look dead. I reached out, and they told me the plants need more time to settle in and for the roots to grow, and then I should see new growth. Aside from that, I’m happy with my purchase and would buy it again. I ordered a terrarium starter set and a few other plants as a birthday gift for my daughter. We live out in the country and our deliveries are usually late to arrive. My package, as usual, got delayed for several days and I worried about the condition of the plants. I contacted the owner and he replied quickly that they are packaged to survive for quite a while and to let him know if there was a problem when I got them. They were very healthy looking and no worse for the wear! Highly satisfied and my daughter liked her gift!

Not as much soil as I thought was included. You'll likely need to buy more soil for your terrarium.

I cared for my plants exactly as instructed, used the soil, used distilled water, and 1 died after a week and the other ones are not doing well. The soil wasn't enough so I had to mix in some wood chips. What a waste of my money.
